The mission of the Canadian Folk Music Awards is to celebrate and promote Canadian Folk Music in all its forms. Paul Cargnello was nominated for best French Singer/Songwriter of the year.

«Bras Coupé», écrite par Paul Cargnello et François Deschamps Deblois/ interprétée par Paul Cargnello & The Frontline a été sélectionnée par la Société canadienne des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique (SOCAN) pour faire partie de son quatrième Prix de la chanson ÉCHO. Il a pour but de rendre honneur aux chansons les plus innovatrices, créatrices et artistiques de la dernière année, composées par des auteurs-compositeurs canadiens de la relève. "Bras Coupé" written by par Paul Cargnello and François Deschamps Deblois/ performed by Paul Cargnello & The Frontline was nominated by the Society of composers, authors and music publishers of Canada (SOCAN) as part of the the fourth annual ECHO Songwriting Prize. The prize honours some of the most innovative, creative and artistic songs created in the past year by independent songwriters in Canada.
